I stopped in here to grab some to go food for myself and a co worker. The place was full of happy locals and I was greeted enthusiastically by the owner with a big smile even though it was probably over 90 degrees in there. Luckily Wednesday is "slider" day and I was lucky enough to get a sample. Unbelievably delicious. I also ordered a sausage with "the girlfriend" treatment which was so amazing and a sausage and pepper sandwich that could be proudly served at any Italian festival. If you're looking to grab a quick bite prepared with care, this is your place. Fresh cut fries cooked to order! Love this place!!

The food was amazing! Great hospitality and a fantastic menu that won't leave you hungry!! The owner Chino was incredible, a true artist in hotdog-ery!! Frank-ly the best dogs I've had in a long time. We ordered the Polish Hawaiian (this is a sub sandwich), and the Southwestern Hot Dog...and Chino also gave us a sample of a Kielbasa Special along with the Chino Dog which was also amazing!! Old school, city hot dog shop is the "Real Deal"!! Busy place in downtown Middletown. Thanks Chino!!

This place is perfect! Best hot dog spot I've ever been too. It's also a great price. The owner and workers are very nice, respectful and always happy. I recommend this place if you like hot dogs, sausages or even little sliders.

Chino is an artist my friends come on Tuesdays for his secret chicken sandwich and Wednesday for sliders you will not be disappointed

Such a cool place. The owner (i'm assuming) was really cool down to earth guy, along with the woman. The place has such a fun character, along with the people. Definitely recommend to anyone and everyone.

Outstanding!! Driving by looking for a burger joint for lunch and saw the name HolyDog. Smelled really good, so I pulled over. Got my regular NY dog, mustard and kraut. Chino, the owner, was talking about his pickled jalapeños. I mentioned that I also make pickled jalapeños. He gave me some. Amazing. Put mine to shame. Then he makes me a Mexico City dog w/salsa, those jalapeños and cojilla cheese. WOW. Definitely going again, and I live almost an hour away.

Holy crap, Holydog is the real deal! Our son sent us here even before I looked up the Yelp reviews. He's up there a lot and told me this is THE place to get a hot dog. Boy, was he right. Holydog is a little hole in the wall that is nothing great to look at, but as soon as you walk in you know. You can't help but get a little overwhelmed by the menu. Who puts sauteed pineapple on a kielbasa? Remoulade, mustard, ketchup, pickle & crispy onions on a dog, what?!? But it all works and it works amazingly well. If you're anywhere near Holydog and they're open, you must stop by and try their fantastic creations. Next time I'm trying their chili - I hear it is the best (and I'm not a chili fan).

Holydog has been on my Middletown/Goshen Yelp list for the last 2-3 years, and we finally got the chance to try it this trip! My husband is from Goshen & we visit once or twice a year, so I always have a rolling Orange County restaurant list to try. Our toddler was asleep in the car so husband ran in to grab our food to-go; I got the girlfriend treatment with sweet Italian, he got a Chicago dog, we got a plain dog for our toddler, and a side of fries. Chicago dog was nice & fresh, exactly what you'd expect from a good Chicago dog; the girlfriend treatment was enormous & life changing. GET THIS. Seriously. Do not pass go, do not collect $200, without getting the Girlfriend treatment. Fries were super hot & fresh, and well salted - definitely seemed hand cut & not frozen. Plain dog was, as you'd expect, a great, simple, plain hot dog. I will dream of that girlfriend treatment dog forever. Or until our next Middletown visit, when we come back here. Lol
